★★★★★ Very Honest Mechanic

susan j. 5 Walnut Creek Auto Clinic

I recently took my son's Ford Focus to Walnut Creek Auto Clinic based upon a friend's recommendation and I was very pleased with the service that I received. The car needed some major repairs which were explained to me in terms that I could understand. I can't remember the name of the gentleman with whom I spoke but he was very professional, courteous and honest. The final bill was actually a bit lower than what was originally quoted to us. A few days after the repairs were done, my son reported that he heard strange.
I would definitely return to Walnut Auto Clinic for future repairs and I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for professional, honest mechanics.

I had the check engine light come on on my 04 dodge truck and it started driving funny. My husband was convinced that the transmission went bad and we started calling shops to get quotes for replacing the transmission. The quotes we received were from $1500 to $4500. When I called Walnut Creek Auto Clinic I was told to bring the vehicle in for them to inspect it before they would give me a quote. I was rather reluctant to take it in for an estimate as my husband was almost sure that the transmission was bad. I decided to take it in to Walnut Creek Clinic. After waiting there for about an hour they gave me an estimate of $188 parts labor and tax - he said it was a bad tp sensor. I immediatly gave them the approval to fix it. I waited for another 45 minutes and they fixed it My truck drives great again.

★★★★★ Excellent Work.

We have used Walnut Creek Auto Clinic to service all our family vehicles. My son who goes to school in Austin called us a couple of weeks ago and informed us of car problems that he was experiencing. The Chevy dealer had told him that the computer in his car was bad and that was causing the check engine light to come on. The price tag $990.00 The vehicle drove fine with no apparent problems. We asked him to drive it here during spring break and that we would have the techs at Walnut Creek Auto Clinic take a look at it. Last week when he came here we took the vehicle to Walnut Creek and they ran a diagnostic check on it and found that the gasket on the gas cap was bad. They replaced the gas cap and resolved the problem. We recommend the guys at Walnut Creek to all our friends and family

I've been taking my car to Walnut Creek Auto clinic since the past 5 years but never got around to writing a review. They are very professional and they will always tell upfront all that your car requires and are never pushy like ...if you know what I mean. They have always done a great job.I've never had any trouble with them and I make sure that I recommend them to all my friends and family.
They also give loaner cars which is such a help for me....as then I don't have to borrow my son's car for work.

★★★★★ Trustworthy and Professional

Whenever I've needed any repairs I've alwas taken my SUV to Walnut Creek Auto Clinic in Mansfield, which is the tried and tested auto repair shop of my family since a long time now.
Recently I moved to Irving,TX and sometime later my Jeep Cherokee started over heating so I took it to close by workshop out of convenience. After diagnosing the problem, they gave me an estimate of $950.
Just to make sure I called Walnut Creek Auto clinic for the
estimate of the same issue and they gave me a $350 lesser quote for the problem and dianosis that I had given them but they also said that they would have to recheck as to what really the issue was so that they could the repair it right.
So I took the SUV to them and it turned out that the problem was a little different then what had been diagosed earlier and it cost me even less. It was one heck of relief to have taken my car to a long time trusted repair shop...Auto repair shops are like doctors ...if you come across a good one you should stick to them....and Walnut Creek Auto Clinic has proved to be just that.

★★★★★ Admirable and Reliable

Last year,I took my car to the dealership for an oil change and after the oil change they told me that there was a significant power steering pump leak, which required immediate attention and the job would cost $950 .I had gone for an oil change and was being asked to spend almost a $1000.
Well I decided to call the local shop,Walnut Creek Auto Clinic and asked them for a quote for the problem diagnosed by the dealership. They gave me a quote of $600.
So, I made an appointment and took my 2004 ford explorer to Walnut Creek Auto Clinic for the work.....and lo and behold when they checked my car .....they said that there no sign of the smallest of leaks ...leave alone a significant one.
I thanked God and my lucky star, that I had taken my car to these amazing people at Walnut Creek Auto Clinic and saved myself from spending $1,000.
Also to realise the fact that they could have just played along with the dealership scam and made $600 for themselves.Since then,I've recommending these admirable people to all my friends and family.
Its been 9 months now and my SUV is running just fine.Thankyou to all the people at Walnut Creek Auto Clinic.

★★★★★ Walnut Creek Auto Clinic is OUT OF THEIR WAY HELPFUL AND HONEST!

Hershel M. 5 Walnut Creek Auto Clinic

Last year, we travelled to the Dallas area from Mobile, Al for the Christmas 2008 holidays. On the way here, we began to have severe brake problems. On December 23rd, I had it checked at WCAC and disiovered most of the brake pads worn out. to the point that all rotors were worn very thin and had to be replaced. Bad news for us since home was 11 hours and five hundred miles away! We were due to travel home on the 25th.

WCAC worked overtime to locate Ford replacement parts, and completed repairs for us on Christmas Eve!

Early in February, 2008, I began to notice a noise in the left front wheel, but as I am a TAURUS ( You know how stubborn they are!), I continued to drive the truck and periodically inspecting the brake rotors. The noise increased but it was never unsafe, and there was no sign of damage. I figured there was a broken spring or something minor like that.

We returned to this area again this week for a visit with our son, daughter and a brand new grand-daughter, so I figured that while here I would get it checked out at Walnut Creek Auto Center.

THEY ACTUALLY REMEMBERED LAST YEAR'S ORDEAL! After a test drive, the wonderful folks there removed the wheel and rotor and found a bad wheel bearing that is an integral part of the FORD-furnished rotor!

Warranteed, Right? Wrong! SIX month warranty from Ford, so I'm looking at parts and labor costs again! .Right here at Christmas Time, and us wanting to spend our limited funds on gifts.

WRONG AGAIN! Mr. Ahmed went to work on or with FMC, explained the situation, and somehow got Ford to warratee the parts as defective, obtained the new Ford parts, installed them and delivered my truck to me at our children's home in Grand Prairie.

Mr. Ahmed DID NOT CHARGE A DIME!

He was actually apologetic for my having a problem in the first place!

While this has been going on, I have been searching the web, and found this site, and read the reviews. All are good reviews here, as I feel mine is.

Iwish I could say how helpful and nice they have been. All he really had to do was deny the warranty and charge me for the parts and labor. After all, they had my keys and my truck! I would have had no choice to pay the price.

You can bet that whenever we come to town again, I will visit this shop and see these fine folks. Maybe there will always be some little something they can fix for me!

I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND Walnut Creek Auto Clinic to help with your repair needs.
